Dental Hygiene Clinical Services & Appointments

Has it been more than 6 months since your last dental hygiene appointment?
Do your gums bleed when you brush or floss?
Is your toothbrush more than 6 months old?

If you answered YES to any of these questions, you need to make an appointment at the WSU Dental Hygiene Clinic for preventive dental hygiene care.

By being a patient at the WSU Clinic, you will receive professional services at lower fees and you will be giving students an opportunity to perfect their skills.  All services are provided by students in the Dental Hygiene Program.  These services are checked and evaluated by experienced, licensed dental hygiene faculty.  The fees are covered by most dental insurance plans and medicaid.

Clinic Fees

$24.00 Prophylaxis, deposit removal/debridement
$1.00/each Radiographs (duplicate films are made for the client)
$14.00/film Panographic radiograph (a duplicate film is made for the client)
$10.00 Prosthetic Service, oral examination and prosthetic cleaning for an edentulous client
$6.00/tooth Sealants
$20.00/pkg Actisite® Fiber
$8.00/chip Periochip® Treatment
$5.00/visit Nitrous oxide
$6.00 Home Fluoride Gel
$3.00 Antibiotic Premedication
$0 Screening Only (no x-rays)

All clients are referred to their personal dentist for diagnosis and restorative care.

The clinic is located on campus at Weber State University, Ogden, UT, (approximately 35 miles north of Salt Lake City, Utah)  in the Marriott Allied Health Building, Room 479.
