Points to remember about pre-professional programs:

Pre-professional programs are not degree programs.

You must choose a major - traditionally students have chosen Chemistry, Microbiology, or Zoology although other science majors can also work for you as well. (For example, if you are interested in radiology then Physics might be a good choice.)

You must complete the degree requirements for the major and for the pre-professional program.

Advice for beginning a pre-professional program:

Obtain a copy of the latest Weber State University Catalog.

Visit the adviser for the program you are interested in.

Begin your: Chemistry (two years worth), English composition, Math, and General Zoology sequences as soon as possible.

Completing both a major and pre-professional program in 4 years is possible but it takes planning. Plan ahead - map out your courses for the next four years.
